Our Process: From Vision to Reality in Joinery
Where to start with a kitchen renovation or remodelling project? It might seem daunting, but at Graft Joinery, we've streamlined the process into a step-by-step guide, from your initial concept to the beautifully finished product. Our team, skilled in kitchen design and build, commercial fit-out, and custom cabinetry, will support you throughout your journey.
1. We meet up
This consultation helps us grasp your vision. Bring your plans to our Graft office for new builds; for renovations, we’ll come to you and take measurements. Afterward, you’ll get a welcome pack with process details and a design brief.
2. Concept creation
After your consultation, our designer will create mind-blowing ideas based on the brief and budget discussed. We’ll then present concept drawings and a quote for your feedback in a follow-up meeting at our office.
3. let’s do this!
After seeing the initial designs, you’re keen to continue on this journey with us. Following the payment of a design fee, we can work together to perfect the design and layout for your new space.
4. perfecting
With a starting point established, we refine the design to match your preferences and budget. This may involve phone/email discussions, site visits and showroom meetings.
5. Handover and detailing
Your designer and detailer review your project, finalise design specifications, and confirm chosen finishes. After site measures, your project is loaded into our software for manufacturing. A final space measure is required at this stage.
6. we source materials
We order your materials, distribute working drawings to our team and prepare for the project. You’ll receive a 50% manufacturing invoice prior to ordering materials.
7. The grafting begins
After putting time and energy into your designs, our awesome Grafters can now turn them into reality! Once our masters have Grafted the majority of your design, you can opt to come for a ‘walk through’ of your new kitchen!
8. Taa-dah!
After a journey of drawings, materials, finishes and designs, it all comes together in the form of a beautiful and functional brand new space —— hooray!
9. Photography
We strive to keep our website current with our latest projects. After your project is finished, we may ask to get some professional photos for our marketing.
